GE Medical SpO2 Sensor Compatibility Guide
Customers often ask questions such as: “I have a GE Dash 4000 patient monitor. Which SpO2 sensor should I use?” or “Which SpO2 sensor works with my GE Solar 8000 monitor?” The answer depends on the installed SpO2 module and cable interface, not only the monitor model name.
Why the monitor model alone is not enough
GE patient monitors can use different SpO2 technologies and connector systems, including Masimo SET, Nellcor Oximax, Nellcor non-Oximax, and Ohmeda/TruSignal types. For example, a GE Dash 4000 monitor may use different SpO2 modules, so the correct cable or sensor must be identified by the module port, connector shape, and original part number.
The safest method is to confirm the current SpO2 cable part number or provide photos of the monitor SpO2 port and cable connector.

Ordering note
If you are not sure which GE SpO2 sensor or extension cable you need, please provide the GE monitor model, SpO2 module type, existing cable part number, and clear photos of both connectors. This avoids selecting the wrong Masimo, Nellcor, Oximax, Ohmeda, or TruSignal type.
